Can I come if I have never kayked before?Absolutely! We offer a detailed paddle instrustion for both our tours as well as rentals. We recomend a guided tour for our inexperienced guest. Each of our tours varies in length and skill set, so if you have concerns, just ask!

What type of kayaks do you all have?We have single and tandem (doube) kayaks. All of our kayaks are sit-in style for comfort and stability.

Do I need drinks?We do provide 1 bottle of water per customer, but we do recomend you bring extra drinks to stay hydrated on your adventure.

Where can I get ice?We provide complementry ice for our Waccamaw river location. If you are touring with is in Cherry Grove or Waties Island, there are several stores close by the landing to stock up before you hit the water.

Can I bring food?Yes! You are welcome to bring snacks on any of our water adventrues. If you are heading to Waties Island with us, you can even bring a picnic to enjoy during the break when we reach the island.

Can I bring a cooler?Sure! There is room in both style of kaykas for a small cooler. We recomend a lunch box size cooler that you can fit between your feet or secure to the back of your kayak.

What should I wear?Something comfortable! Always check the weather before you headout and dress as you would for any outdoor activity. Bathingsuits are allowed.

What shoes should I wear?We recomed a water shoe of any kind. Something you don't mind getting wet, but that will also keep your feet safe. Flip-Flops are allowed, but can be dangerous in slippery or rocky condtions.

Are dogs allowed?We welcome well behaved dogs on our tours. They must be human and pet friendly and fit in your kayak. Leashes are required. Please be aware that our 2 hour river tour ends at a farm with other dogs, cats, horses, goats, a pig, and chickens, and they must get in our van to be transported back up river.

What if it rains when my tour is scheduled?Our tours typically go out rain or shine. However, we do NOT go out during storms. If there is thunder or lightning we will attempt to postpone your tour or reschedule. If we cannot find a good time for you to reschedule, you will be fully refunded (minus any applicable fees).

What happens if my tour is cancelled?We always attempt to rebook you. If that is not an option, we will provide a refund of your ticket price.

Do you have an discounts?Yes. We provide a local discount, a service memeber discount, and a senior citizen discount. Call us to book.

Can I come if I cannot swim?Yes. We provide each guest with a Personal Flotation Device. If you cannot swim, please make sure you keep it on at all times in and around the water. Also, just let your guide know so they can make sure you are comforatable.

Is there an age limit?No. We allow guest of all ages to join us on our tours and rentals. We have Personal Flotation Devices for toddlers all the way up to adults. If you bring a child less that 20lbs, please make sure you bring a PFD that will fit your child.

Is there a weight limit?Our single kayaks can carry up to 350 pounds and our double kayaks can carry up to 550 pounds. If you have any concerns, feel free to give us a call.
