What Is Not Included?
Have you ever been to the middle of a saltwater marsh? A kayaking trip to Heritage Shores Nature Preserve is a fantastic trip to discover this beautiful Chery Grove nature preserve. Just a short walk away from Cherry Grove Beach this preserve has a boardwalk that is a mile long roundtrip through a beautiful and diversified ecosystem. There is no charge to get in and the park is open year round.
The Heritage Shores Nature Preserve is located next to the Cherry Grove Park and Boat Ramp at the end of 53rd Avenue North. The park has become a popular fishing destination in North Myrtle Beach and many of the parking spots are assigned to cars with boat trailers. The preserve also has a smaller parking lot from which it is a short walk to the preserve entrance (just turn right, away from the boat ramp area).
